Tingkatan Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) pada Pekerja di Pemotongan Batu PT. “P” Sleman

Limited liability “P” using the machines in the production process and can cause the impact, namely noise that can cause the occurrence of Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) or hearing loss due to noise on the workforce. In addition to the noise factor, NIHL can be caused due to the factor of age, period of employment, the use of ear protectors tools (APT), and the distance to the source of the noise. The purpose of this research is to know the comparisons of characteristics respondents, there are age, period of employment, the use of ear protectors tools (APT), and the distance to the source of the noise on various levels of Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) on workers in the cutting stone in PT. Pri Adhi Husada Sleman. Kind of this research is a survey with cross sectional design with respondent as many as 31 people working in the cutting stone. Descriptive analysis of data by way of using SPSS compare means. The result showed that there were comparisons of characteristics of respondents, including the age of the work, the use of APT, and the distance to the source of the noise on many levels NIHL
